Dinosaurs at Dusk – The Origins of Flight

“Dinosaurs at Dusk is a wonderful mix of paleontology, geology and astronomy. Its real strength lies in the integration of interesting facts from various fields that ultimately lead to introspection on evolution, extinction and our place in the cosmos. Natural history at its best!” – John Zawiskie, Cranbrook Institute of Science

A whirlwind time travel adventure back to the epoch of dinosaurs.

A learning adventure of a father and his teenage daughter Lucy, who share a fascination for all things that fly.

You´ll travel back in time to meet the pterosaurs and the ancestor of modern day birds: the feathered dinosaurs. Lucy and her father navigate from continent to continent, looking for clues about the origins of flight. When time runs out they experience first-hand the cataclysmic “last day” of the dinosaurs.

Science content includes topics such as continental drift, proper motion o stars, asteroids and impacts, extinctions and the convergent development of flight among species.
